Sea trips & islands Trips from El Gouna
Magawish Island is a calm alternative to the crowded beaches of Hurghada, and a private speed boat is a comfortable way to reach it. The boat and its captain are booked for your family or friends only, so you decide how long to swim, float or sit on the sand. On the way, the boat stops at a colorful coral reef where beginners can try snorkeling straight away, and then it continues to the island for free time on a soft sandy beach and in clear turquoise water. The trip runs every day, with a start time of your choice between 09:00 and 13:00.
After your hotel pickup, a transfer brings you to the marina, where your experienced captain and the speed boat are ready. Snorkeling equipment and life jackets are on board, and fuel is covered. You spend about four hours on the water before returning to the marina and riding back to your hotel. Sea conditions may change the order of the stops. Your exact pickup time depends on your hotel and is confirmed by message after booking.
The island entrance fee is not included and is paid on site, so bring cash. Food and drinks, photos and videos and personal expenses are extra. Bring your passport or a copy, swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat, and keep your camera handy for the beach. Wait at your hotel’s main entrance instead of the reception.
