Sea trips & islands Trips from El Gouna
A private speed boat to Orange Bay gives you the Red Sea on your own terms. Only your group is on board, together with a captain, so there is no waiting for other passengers and no fixed timetable to rush through. Orange Bay sits within the protected Giftun islands off the Hurghada coast and is known for its white sandy beach and a shallow, turquoise lagoon. It is an easy place to swim, sunbathe or simply sit in the shallows and enjoy the view. The trip runs every day, and you can choose a departure time anywhere between 09:00 and 13:00.
After your hotel pickup in Hurghada, a transfer takes you to the marina, where the speed boat is ready. You spend about four hours on the water, and the whole outing lasts about five hours including the transfers. If the sea allows and you would like it, the captain can stop at a coral reef so you can snorkel with the equipment carried on board. Fuel and life jackets are covered. Weather and sea conditions can change the plan, so the route stays flexible. Your exact pickup time depends on your hotel and is confirmed by message after booking.
The Orange Bay entrance fee is paid separately at the island, so carry some cash. Food and drinks, photos, personal expenses and tips are not included. Pack swimwear, a towel, sunscreen and sunglasses, and note that basic swimming ability is recommended. Wait at your hotel’s main entrance rather than the reception, and allow 10 to 15 minutes in case the transfer is delayed.
