Mahmya Island Snorkeling Trip from Hurghada

Mahmya is regarded as one of the more exclusive islands of the Red Sea, and this full-day yacht trip from Hurghada brings you there in comfort. The island sits in the protected Giftun Islands area and is liked for its calm atmosphere. Children are welcome. The trip runs daily. A transfer bus collects you from your hotel in Hurghada, El Gouna, Makadi Bay or Sahl Hasheesh at around 08:00 and takes you to the marina, and the whole outing lasts about seven hours.

From the marina the yacht, which has a sun deck, cruises to Mahmya. You spend one hour on the white sandy beach, swimming in the turquoise water and resting in the sun. Island access is included, and lunch is served right on the island. On the way, the boat makes two snorkeling stops at coral reefs, where colorful fish and coral gardens appear below you. Snorkeling equipment is provided and the stops suit beginners and experienced snorkelers.

Water, soft drinks, coffee and tea are available through the day, and a professional crew with safety equipment is on board. Underwater photos, beach towels and personal expenses are not covered. At the end of the trip you are taken back to your hotel. Bring your passport or a copy, as it may be checked at the port, along with swimwear, a towel and sunscreen.
